BUILD 3: Bosentan Use in Interstitial Lung Disease BUILD 3 is a prospective, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled, event-driven, group sequential, phase III superiority study. The primary objective is to demonstrate that bosentan delays disease worsening or death in patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Rivaroxaban Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) Study in Pediatric Subjects The first study with rivaroxaban in pediatric subjects is a Phase I study, where the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) profile of rivaroxaban will be investigated to confirm that the exposure is comparable to adults. This study is a single dose study with multiple PK/PD measurements in pediatric subjects at the end of their Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) treatment.

Efficacy and Safety of Oral Bosentan in Patients With Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Endothelin-1 (ET-1) is expressed in a variety of pulmonary pathological conditions including pulmonary vascular disease and pulmonary fibrosis. Bosentan (an oral dual ET-1 receptor antagonist) could delay the progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a condition for which no established treatment is available. The present trial investigates a possible use of bosentan, which is currently approved for the treatment of symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) WHO class III and IV, to a new category of patients suffering from IPF. It was decided to offer Open Label treatment (bosentan) for patients willing to continue in the BUILD 1 study.

CP-675,206 Versus Either Dacarbazine Or Temozolomide In Patients Without Prior Therapy This is a Phase 3, multi-national, open-label, 2-arm randomized study in patients with surgically incurable metastatic melanoma who have received no prior chemotherapy, or biochemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic disease.
