Satavaptan in the Prevention of Ascites Recurrence in Patients With Ascites Due to Cirrhosis of the Liver Primary To evaluate the efficacy of satavaptan on top of diuretic drugs in reducing the recurrence of ascites. Secondary To evaluate the tolerability and safety of satavaptan on top of diuretic drugs over a 52-week treatment period in participants with cirrhosis of the liver and recurrent ascites. The one-year double blind placebo controlled period is extended up to 2 years in a long term safety study (PASCCAL-2).

Safety and Efficacy of Abatacept Versus Placebo in Participants With Psoriatic Arthritis The purpose of this study is to determine an optimal abatacept dosing regimen for the treatment of active arthritis due to psoriatic arthritis in patients who have had a prior inadequate response to disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, including methotrexate and tumor necrosis factor alpha-blockade compounds.

A Phase III, Multi-Centre, Randomised, Placebo-Controlled Study in Combination With Ca-based P Binders in Patients With Hyperphosphatemia This study consists of a 4 week run-in period with a Ca based phosphate binder and 12 weeks treatment period by MCI-196 or placebo, (both on Ca based phosphate binder). During the treatment period, MCI-196 or placebo will be titrated every 3 weeks.
