SLV 308 and Pramipexole for Treatment of Patients With Early Parkinson Disease This is a multicenter, randomized, double blind, parallel group study of 6 months' treatment with SLV308 as monotherapy in patients with early stage PD. An open label safety extension to this study is planned as a separate protocol for patients who are willing and eligible to participate.

Exemestane Compared With Tamoxifen in Treating Women With Locally Recurrent or Metastatic Breast Cancer RATIONALE: Estrogen can stimulate the growth of breast cancer cells. Hormone therapy using exemestane or tamoxifen may fight cancer by blocking the uptake of estrogen. PURPOSE: Randomized phase II/III trial to compare the effectiveness of exemestane with that of tamoxifen in treating postmenopausal women who have locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer.
