Comparison of Voriconazole and Amphotericin B in Treating Patients With Aspergillosis RATIONALE: Antifungal therapy with voriconazole or amphotericin B may be an effective treatment for aspergillosis. It is not yet known whether voriconazole is more effective than amphotericin B in treating patients with aspergillosis. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to compare the effectiveness of voriconazole with amphotericin B in treating patients with aspergillosis.

FCR Versus FC Alone in the Treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in Relapsed Patients The purpose of this study is to provide treatment for patients who have chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and to compare the use of rituximab added to fludarabine+cyclophosphamide (FC) with FC alone, to determine if rituximab lengthens the time a patient remains free of leukemia symptoms.

A Safety and Efficacy Study of Ustekinumab in Patients With Plaque Psoriasis Who Have Had an Inadequate Response to Methotrexate This purpose of this study is to assess the safety of ustekinumab in psoriasis patients who receive ustekinumab following an inadequate response to methotrexate therapy. The study will provide information for doctors on how to manage the transfer from methotrexate to the biologic agent ustekinumab. The study is designed to compare two methods of transferring patients from methotrexate to ustekinumab. The two methods being compared are discontinuation of methotrexate with immediate initiation of ustekinumab versus initiation of ustekinumab with overlap and gradual dose reduction of methotrexate over 4 weeks.

A Survival Study in Patients With High Risk Myelodysplastic Syndromes Comparing Azacitidine Versus Conventional Care The purpose of this study is to determine whether patients with high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) treated with azacitidine have improved survival compared to conventional care treatments. The study will also assess the effect of treatments on response, duration of response, and transformation to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Repinotan in Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke The purpose of this trial is to evaluate Repinotan HCl in patients with acute ischemic stroke. At study entry patients will be randomized to Repinotan HCl or placebo in a 1:1 ratio. The total treatment period wil be 72 hours.
