Optimal Timing of Dronedarone Initiation After Conversion in Patients With Persistent Atrial Fibrillation Primary Objective: - Evaluate the rate of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) recurrences one month after randomization according to different timings of initiation of dronedarone. Secondary Objective: - Evaluate the rate of AF recurrences two months after randomization. - Assess the safety of the change from amiodarone to dronedarone - Assess dronedarone safety - Explore dronedarone and its active metabolite plasma level (in a subset of countries) - Explore potential Pharmacokinetic (PK) interaction between dronedarone and amiodarone (in a subset of countries)

Nilotinib in Newly Diagnosed Adult Philadelphia Chromosome & /or BCR-ABL Positive Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in Chronic Phase This study will assess the efficacy and safety of nilotinib in adult patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive/BCR-ABL positive chronic myeloid leukaemia in chronic phase. The aim of the study is to confirm the rates of complete molecular remission (CMR) of nilotinib in newly diagnosed CML chronic phase patients in a pan-European population using the EUTOS standardized laboratories.

SLV 308 and Pramipexole for Treatment of Patients With Early Parkinson Disease This is a multicenter, randomized, double blind, parallel group study of 6 months' treatment with SLV308 as monotherapy in patients with early stage PD. The Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of E2007 in Levodopa Treated Parkinson's Disease Patients With Motor Fluctuations Patients will be randomised to receive either placebo or the study drug for a period of 30 weeks, in addition to their standard Parkinsonian medications. During the first 8 weeks, the patient's levodopa doses may be adjusted if necessary by the investigator. For the remainder of the 22 weeks, all medications should be kept stable. Patients will be required to attend the clinic twice during the screening period and then a further 8 times during the treatment period. They will be required to complete home diaries where they will record their motor function. In addition, their doctor will assess their Parkinson's disease during the clinic visits. There will also be blood draws for safety and pharmacokinetic and pharmacogenomics evaluation. Following the treatment and assessment period, they will return to the clinic one month later for follow up.
